Leaving Acting Behind To Pursue Fashion Full-time
Can't say I'm dissapointed that Ashley Olsen has decided to leave behind acting to pursue fashion full-time, according to Star Magazine. She is one of my favorite celebs to watch in terms of style. Ashley has such classic style, better than the "hobo" look her twin sister, Mary-kate, runs around town in and I'm not just saying that because we share the same name.Harry Potter's Leading Lady
In her younger years she sported, well the style of a child, but nowadays she is running the red carpet in designer clothing such as Chanel and Alexander McQueen.

Her new sense of style is a big hit, but is it up to par to match the mega hit, Harry Potter?!? Look out for Watson when she graces the cover of Teen Vogue in August.

Twilight Fans Around The World (including me) Are Truly Heartbroken
I am truly heartbroken, according to Life & Style Magazine, “Robert dumps Kristen for Emilie.” Ok, so not that we ever actually knew that they were dating, so we’re not sure that it’s even possible for them to break up, but if any of it is true, I am truly heartbroken. Yes, it’s sad to say that I am a Twilight fan, not like I would chase Robert Pattinson down the street screaming we belong together (well I think ;)) But the two of them together is such an intriguing idea, both young and talented in that silent and keep to their selves kind of way. It seems or so it seemed like a perfect match. For more information you can check out Life & Style online or pick up the latest issue on news stands now!

Appealing To My Eye
Just wanted to share how I am consumed by fashion on a daily bases and share this pictures of two window displays that really caught my attention one night walking home in New York City.
Both storefronts are on Broadway in Soho, my all time favorite shopping spot in the city.
The first is a display that has continuously caught my eye, so I finally took a picture, but it’s a small boutique that even as many times as it has grabbed my attention, I’ve never bothered to go in or get the name of the store. The display is very vintage looking and the featured green dress paired with and over-sized necklace is to die for.
On the other hand, the other window display that always makes me excited and only fuels my urge and addiction to shop belongs to one of my favorite stores in SOHO, “Top Shop.” Unbelievably colorful, with the mannequins in motion and wearing mix-matched outfits, that I’m not sure I would have the guts to wear out on a daily basis is sure to grab any fashion lovers attention. However, fashion is all about the risk.
Unfortunately, “Top Shop,” is slightly over priced for my budget, so I’m sticking to window shopping as of now, so hopefully they continue to make their window displays pleasing to the eye.
With love,
Ashley Nicole

A Legend Is Remembered...
With an estimated 250,000 to 700,000 fans to be on scene for the public memorial of Michael Jackson and approximately 1 billion people set to watch the memorial live according to the “Herald Sun,” one thing is clear. That only someone of great impact and influence could be remembered and honored at the altitude that has not been witnessed since the “King of Rock,” himself, Elvis Presley died.Recognizable figures from all backgrounds of sports, music and even reverends came out to honor and say their final goodbyes to a “musical genius,” Michael Jackson.
Among those who paid respects and spoke only great things on behalf of the “King of Pop,” were Reverend Al Sharpton, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson and Queen Latifah, just to name a few.
The kind words spoken throughout the service on Jackson’s behalf, reminded many of us that Jackson stood for more and meant more too many people than just the controversial stories he so often made headlines for.
"Michael made us love each other, Michael taught us to stand with each other," Sharpton told the crowd on how Jackson brought people of all backgrounds together with his music and the kindness of his heart.
Other musical idols such as Stevie Wonder, Usher and Mariah Carey performed in Jackson’s honor as well.
Jackson made headlines long before he passed and his legacy will continue to make headlines long after his tragic death.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the Jackson family during this very difficult time, the only thing I can wish for them is that the press give them the space they need and deserve to grieve.
With Love,

UnveiledEdge's Undiscovered

With so many genres of music out there, raw Jamaican- Reggae needs more exposure in the U.S. Its sad that such beautiful music hasn't reached our mainstream radios since the one and only Bob Marley. Already having established fame in Jamaica, Gyptian is a very talented, underrated Reggae artist. This 25-year-old, Jamaican Native holds one of the smoothest, softest voices in Reggae, and in my opinion he is more talented than many Hollywood artists today.
Focusing on love and political issues, his music exerts much emotion, yet soothes the soul. He released his first Album in 2006, titled "My name is Gyptian." Following the release of the album, he had three singles,"Is There a Place", "Beautiful Lady", and the chart-topping ballad "Mama, Don't Cry."
His second and most recent album was released in 2008, named after the released single "I Can Feel Your Pain." The single has hit the charts in Jamaica, but has yet to impact our American radios.
So, Take your ears on a vaca to the Jamaican Islands, and check him out @:

BET AWARDS 2009
Beyonce showed her strong "ego" in a barely there, long sleeve, Balmain piece. The dress held tight to her curves and just look at those legs! The bright colors are perfect for the season and make me think of Mardi Gras. The jagged cut on the bottom of the dress is fun and sexy. Now down to the shoes, they are Christina Dior--and even better they have dangling beads surrounding the heel. Not a normal place to hang beading, but I hope to see more heels like this entering the fashion world, and hopefully a mall near by.
Ms. Keri Hilson "knocked us down" in here superhero styled dress. The cut of the dress is sexy and form fitting, showing of her curves. I feel the design is a mix between wonder women and the flintstones...a mix I never thought would make it to the red carpet--but it did and oozed sex-appeal!
Time to get natural--Alicia Keys ran the red carpet in her Moroccan inspired Jenny Packham dress. The beading and gold trim speaks--"GODDESS!". The shoes- they could get a whole fashion review of their own: HOT! This is my personal favorite of the night.
America's Next Top Fashionista does not go to Tyra Banks. Although I am a fan of the feminine suits, I cant get past her "Mars Attacks" looking face expression and hair in this photo. Setting that aside, from the shoulders down the outfit is decent, yet I feel fall is coming soon.
As much as I love the rocker style--Cassie the look is not working. Starting with the hair, I dont understand why she pulled a Britney on one half of her head and kept a Cassie on the other. Obviously with a face like that, you can wear anything on your head and look amazing, but it appears she is trying to hard, when she doesnt have to. Same for the outfit--it needs to be taken down a notch or two.
BET Awards brought both hits and misses...I wonder what next year will have in store for us!
